HotDawgs & HandPlants started off with a few friends and a grill enjoying the spring conditions. That first day had more and more attendees join once the music got going, grill was cooking. This event soon grew to what it is today. We hope to raise funds through in kind donations for our coaches and athletes to attend USASA Nationals at Copper Mtn (3/27/25-4/9/25. We give away hotdogs provided by CP Foods in Cortland, great prizes from our amazing partners. Central New York FreeRide is a 501(c)(3) Non Profit under the parent company of Central New York Action Sports Incorporated
(EIN #92-0791511). We strive to introduce action sports in a supportive team framework to ensure progression in our community. The funds raised help cover ongoing expenses such as equipment, travel, registrations, coaches education, and our athlete scholarship, “Unwasted Time”.

We have had different donations such as a cheeseburger (Coach and Athlete Jordan Smith’s favorite), dinner during nationals to celebrate the team, and donations from non-endemic businesses to support to their athlete during a holiday camp.
